Have you been following this week’s beautiful coverage of some of Tassie’s hidden gems in The Mercury? This feature is the culmination of the bid to find (and vote) for Tassie’s Top Tourist Town, organised by TICT in conjunction with the Mercury and Spirit of Tasmania. This inaugural event has been designed to really showcase some of our gorgeous towns, villages and hamlets and especially timed to help promote our local regions and local businesses to support a vibrant, rapid and exciting recovery beyond the tough times of the past months. The winning town (although they are all stunning entries) will be decided in two parts, with 50% by a tourism industry judging panel and 50% by popular vote from you.
If you love Bream Creek and our wonderful local businesses, check out our entry, and we would absolutely appreciate your vote, your neighbours vote, your workplace support and spreading the word! Apologies if you are seeing this information in duplicate or triplicate…we are just a little bit excited about getting the message out to you!
Like many other regional areas in Tasmania this year, we are very aware of the impact that Tasmania’s emergency lockdown has had on individuals, businesses and visitor numbers, and this competition seemed like a fantastic chance to be poised to attract opportunities and visitors back as soon as restrictions allow. It would be fabulous to take out the award and highlight our world class Bream Creek and surrounds. Our entry was designed to promote this area and really jump start our return to business as soon as restrictions to trade and travel ease.
Very much hoping for your support,
All the BCFM team plus
