The Bream Creek Farmers Market Cook Book was first published in December 2013. We have a few copies remaining, which can be sourced directly from the Community Stall at the market, or by contacting us via email at breamcreekfarmersmarket@gmail.com.

The Bream Creek Farmers Market Cook Book was successfully launched that the Market on Sunday 1 Dec – and one month later 80% of the print run was sold.

Recipes for the cook book were submitted by stallholders, community members and the Bream Creek Farmers Market Committee, with over 70 gorgeous recipes, professionally cooked, styled and photographed by Eloise Emmett, Katharine Burke and Alice Bennett.  As well as delicious, seasonal recipes, The Bream Creek Farmers Market Cookbook features gardening advice and cooking tips as well as special information about our region – fishing and aquaculture, a history of farming in the region and advice on sustainable living – growing vegetables and caring for your backyard chooks.  Images of our beautiful region and the Farmers Market are also spread throughout the book.

Production costs were raised through sponsorshop from local businesses, and we would like to thank our generous sponsors for their support – Allure Boutique, Little Quoin Farmhouse, Kate Storey Real Estate, Port Arthur Historic Sites, Tassal, William McHenry and Sons Distillery, The Tasman Gazette and The Sorell Times, Rannoch Quail, Cape Bernier Vineyard, Mures Tasmania, Photography by Alice, Endless Waves Hairdressing, Cunningham Holdings Earthmoving, Dunalley Waterfront Café and Groovy Native Permaculture.

Money raised from the sales of this cookbook will goes back into supporting the Market to ensure the future of the market.  In addition, we are delighted to be able to support the Dunalley Primary School Association, where 5% of all profits from sales of the cookbook have supported the next generation of bakers, makers and growers.
