August at the BCFM done and dusted!

A big hooray to our wonderful stallholders, who chatted, smiled and stomped their feet to keep warm yesterday. These guys work incredibly hard all year round to bring us the best Tassie produce from the land, the kitchen, the paddock, the vineyards and orchards and then have the energy and enthusiasm to provide invaluable growers and makers insights at every market. Thankyou to such great patronage too….people came from far and wide, with all number plates from all states and a few lovely lilting overseas accents tracking us down through social media, local gossip and great sign posting. Thanks to our entertainment crews, Steve Bond and The Black Swans of Trespass, who despite chilly strumming fingers played an eclectic combo of spanish guitar and electric banjo throughout the morning keeping us all on our toes. Lastly to the BCFM committee, a really energetic, incredibly busy bunch of locals, who manage to juggle work, kids, commutes and collecting eggs to make BCFM such a valuable local institution.

  1. I wish to thank all the people who bring about our treasured Bream Creek Farmer’s Market at which I not only get my wine, bread, olive oil and vegies but it is where I meet up with my community. The musicians are always good and Steve Bond and the Black swans of Trespass made were tremendous for giving warmth to such a cold day. Blessings on you All.

  2. Thanks Noni. That is exactly what Bream Creek Farmers Market is all about! Steve Bond and BSoT were amazing weren’t they. Watch this blog for who is joining us for Fathers Day celebrations in September. Cheers BCFM team
